Invented in 1937 by world-record tournament caster Fred Arbogast in Akron, Ohio, its signature double-cupped metal lip forces the lure to wobble rhythmically side-to-side. This action produces a distinctive "plop-plop" or "gurgling" surface sound that remains a legendary bass magnet, especially for night fishing. Construction: Body is hollow Tenite plastic.
